Electrical Conduit

BlueSteel Services, LLC, is a company you can rely on for the supply of superior quality EMT and Rigid steel conduit.

EMT steel conduit we manufacture is made of high quality hot dip galvanized flat rolled steel which is slit to width, formed and welded deploying the electric resistance welding process. The process culminates in a finished tube which is uniform in wall thickness, inside diameter and outside diameter. Smooth welded seam is used on the interior surface of the conduit ensuring that it is defect free.

Uniform zinc coating on the coating provides for galvanic protection against corrosion. A clear lacquer coating shields the exterior, while coating of the primer on the interior surface ensures smooth continuous raceways for easy and quick wire pulling. The EMT has features like cutting, uniform bending and excellent ductility.

Clients can source EMT in standard trade sizes, from 1/2" - 4", in 10 foot (3.05 m) lengths. For easy size identification, color coded tape is used on the bundles of finished EMT in sizes up to 1-1/2".

EMT is manufactured in accordance with the latest edition of the following:

Rigid Conduit

Rigid conduit is produced through electric resistance welding process using high-strength steel. The product is uniform in wall thickness along with inside and outside diameter. Usage of hot dipped galvanization makes sure that rigid conduit is well protected against corrosion and metal-to-metal contact. Top coating with clear lacquer also supports corrosion resistance and inhibits white rust. Smooth interior surface provides for easy wire pulling. Thanks to the ductility in the conduit, it provides for features such as easy bending, threading and cutting.

Rigid conduit is available in standard trade sizes, from 1/2"- 6" in 10 foot (3.05 m) lengths and that includes coupling. Rigid conduit is threaded on both ends, with a color coded tread protector on one end and coupling attached to the other. The taper of threads is 3/4 inch per foot (1 in 16) and the threads are protected after cutting by an application of molten zinc. The thread pitch corresponds with the American National Standard for pipe threads, general purpose (Inch), ANSI/ ASME B1.20.1.
