BlueSteel EMT Steel Conduit
Our EMT steel conduit and elbows are manufactured from high grade steel. The process culminates in a finished tube which is uniform in wall thickness, and smooth ID weld. A hot dipped zinc coating is applied for galvanic protection against corrosion. A clear lacquer shields the exterior. The EMT has excellent ductility providing for uniform cutting and bending.
Our EMT standard trade sizes are from 1/2" - 4", in 10’ lengths.
EMT is manufactured in accordance with the latest edition of the following:
• Underwriters Laboratories Standard 797 for EMT-Steel
• American National Standard for Steel EMT (ANSI® C80.3)
• National Electric Code® 2002 Article 358 (1999 NEC® Article 348)

BlueSteel Rigid Steel Conduit
Our Rigid UL6 conduit, elbows, nipples and sweeps are produced through electric resistance welding process using high-strength steel. The product is uniform in wall thickness and the ID bead is removed for smooth wire pulling. The tubes are hot dipped galvanization and blown dry to prevent zinc build up on the interior. Clear lacquer is applied to the exterior to ensure a long shelf life. Excellent ductility in the conduit provides for easy bending, threading and cutting.
Rigid conduit is available in standard trade sizes, from 1/2"- 6" in 10 foot (3.05 m) lengths including coupling. Our conduit has a color coded thread protector on one end and coupling attached to the other. The taper of threads is 3/4 inch per foot (1 in 16) and the threads are protected after cutting by an application of molten zinc.
The thread pitch corresponds with the American National Standard for pipe threads, general purpose (Inch), ANSI/ ASME B1.20.1.

BlueSteel PVC Coated Steel Conduit
Our PVC Coated Rigid Steel Conduit starts with UL listed galvanized steel conduit. The tubes are then acid cleaned and 40 mils of the highest grade of polyvinyl chloride is applied to the exterior. 2 mils of urethane coating are applied to the interior. Our finished PVC coated conduit has been Underwriter Laboratories verified for adhesion. We also manufacture PVC coated nipples, elbows, large radius sweeps, liquid tight connectors, grounding bushings, form 7 and 8 conduit bodies and most related fittings and accessories. BlueSteel PVC coated steel conduit provides maximum protection in corrosive environment applications.
